A villa originally constructed by the architect Swetchine in 1962 for Baroness Tolstoy in grounds of 8680mē with olive groves of over several hundred years old. There are magnificent views from the villa and gardens over the countryside, the hills and towards the Mediterranean.
The villa is elegant and traditional in design with high-beamed ceilings with a library of 70mē with antique fireplace. T.V, satellite receiving some English channels. This room opens out onto a private garden. The dining room also elegant in style opens onto a covered terrace ideal for outdoor meals. The kitchen is completely fitted with dark oak-fronted units and emerald mosaic tiles. There are full kitchen appliances of dishwasher, electric oven, mixed gas/electric hob, fridge/freezer and breakfast table and chairs.

On the upper floor of the house there are two master bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. One of these rooms is large enough to make a family room if necessary. Descending by an internal staircase to the lower floor there is an independent apartment that has a double-bedded room as well as a convertible sofa, so that the villa can sleep up to eight people. In the apartment there is also a bathroom, W.C. and kitchenette as well as a further single bed available. There is also a large cellar. The property is alarmed.
The pool is 10m x 4m and has a ladder entrance. The garden is watered by an automatic sprinkling system.

Le Tignet is a small village with superb views from an elevated position all the way to the coast and within very easy reach of Peymeinade, Lac St. Cassien, Grasse and the autoroute network to Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo and Northern Italy.
A villa with history, charm and character, quiet and very well maintained.

  • Single Week Supplement: £200.00
  • Extra Maidservice: £8.75/hour (Min. 2 hrs. Not Saturdays.)
  • Extra sets off linen and towels: £17.90/person.

Included: Normal use of electricity, water, gas (where applicable), maidservice of 2 x 2 hours/week and end-of-stay cleaning.
A refundable security deposit of £500 required.

A single set of bed-linen and towels is included for each person booked at the villa, and beds will be made-up before arrival.
Clients booking more than a week can wash this original set themselves, or bring their own linen with them.

Alternatively, we can rent additional sets of linen and towels at £17.90/person.
